Head Coach (4th season)

Phil Ribaux was named Head Coach of the Gaiters' Women's Soccer team on September 9, 2008. Ribaux, 27, had served for one year as the team's assistant coach, is a Physical Education instructor at Champlain College.

Ribaux played as a central midfielder in the CIS with the Brock Badgers for three seasons, from 2002-04, and won a national championship with the Badgers in 2002. Prior to playing at Brock, he captained the Champlain Cougars men's soccer team to a bronze medal at the Quebec provincial AA championship in 2001, their first playoff appearance in ten years and their only ever appearance at the provincial championship.

A native of Lennoxville, Ribaux has a degree in Physical Education from Brock and an Education degree from Lakehead University. He is the son of former Gaiters hockey player Gilles Ribaux '78, a defenceman on the 1975-76 squad.
