Medri went 7-for-11 from the field, including two three-pointers, as she led all scorers and was named the Blues' player of the game. The Blues led for the majority of the game, after opening on a 9-2 run, and evened their weekend record to 1-1.

Toronto built on their opening run to take a 17-8 first-quarter lead. The Gaiters came back in the second, and briefly took the lead at 27-25 late in the first half on a pair of baskets by Véronique Fortin-Tremblay, but the Blues scored the last five points of the half to take a 30-25 lead at the break.
