LENNOXVILLE, Que. – Dane Fitzpatrick (Cornwall, Ont.) of the Bishop’s Gaiters posted a score of 78 in the third round of the Canadian College/University Golf Championship today at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club in Ashburn, Ontario.
Fitzpatrick, who is the first-ever Gaiter to complete at the Golf Canada event, rebounded from his tough first two days, and made his first birdies of the tournament on the 11th, 15th and 17th holes. He finished with a three-round total of 251 (+35), and missed the cut.

The men’s individual leader is Mark Hoffman of Humber College, who is +2 for the tournament. He also posted the day's low round at one under par (71). The final round of the tournament takes place on Friday (June 3).
