ATHLETES OF THE WEEK:

The Bishop’s Gaiters Athlete of the Week is Jordan Heather of the Football team. Heather, a third-year quarterback from Oromocto, N.B., threw for a career-high 459 yards as he led the Gaiters to a 36-23 victory over the Mount Allison Mounties on Saturday afternoon. Heather's total was a regular-season single-game record for the Gaiters, and one yard short of the all-time school record (460, set by Silvio Martel in a 1991 OQIFC semi-final). The third-year history major, playing in his first CIS game in his home province, completed 26 of 41 passes, including three touchdowns and one interception. This was Heather's second consecutive 300-yard game, in only his third career regular-season start.
