LENNOXVILLE, Que. – Four members of the Baggataway Cup Champion Bishop's Gaiters have been named to the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association's East Division all-star team, with the Gaiters also earning one honourable mention.

Mike Dube (Brockville, Ont.) and Josh Crone (Cambridge, Ont.) were both named to the team as attackmen. This is the second straight all-star selection for Dube, who was also the league's Most Valuable Player in 2010, and the first time Crone has been named to the team. Dube finished 2011 with a team-high 47 points (23G, 24A) in ten games, while Crone scored 46 points (29-17) in nine contests.

Greg Harnett (Caledon, Ont.) is the other repeat selection for the Gaiters, as he was named to the defensive unit. Harnett was the league's top defender in 2010, and was drafted by the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League earlier this fall. Also earning honours on the defensive side of the ball was Mason Geldart (Fall River, N.S.), who was named the division's top defensive midfielder.

Veteran goalkeeper Keegan Durovick (Regina, Sask.) was the sole Gaiter to earn an honourable mention. In eight games this year, Durovick posted 6.80 goals-against average, good for third in the league.

The Gaiters finished the season with a 13-1 overall record, and won their first Baggataway Cup championship last Sunday in London, Ont. The league will announce its major award winners later in the offseason.
