Gaiter Club
Goals and Priorities
The foremost goal of the Gaiter Club is to provide financial support to all Bishop's student-athletes and teams. This will be achieved through your gifts to the Gaiter Club.
- Provide financial support to all Bishop’s University sports teams in the form of awards, team travel, and recruiting expenses, new equipment and coaching
- Allow for improved communication between Bishop's Athletics and its fans.
- Receive assistance from Gaiter Club members in the recruitment of student-athletes.
- Formalize social events (post-game receptions, meet the team, etc.)
- When required, solicit financial support for special projects / bursaries.
Our current funding priorities include:
- Support for Athletic Awards & Bursaries
- Facility and/or equipment upgrades
- Additional coaching
- Support for travel money for Gaiter teams.
- Additional support for recruiting expenses.
